Q. How big is the typical restaurant?

A. Between 1,000 and 1,600 square feet with adequate parking and lots of drive-by traffic. Apply Now!

Q. Do you help owners find real estate?

A. Yes! We have specific site criteria and help evaluate sites for your restaurant. Our unique designs can be customized to fit any location, but we need a retail site with 12’ to 18’ frontage.

Q. How long does it take to open?

A. This depends how quickly you find a location and sign a lease. Whether free-standing spaces or “Main Street” locations, former restaurant spaces are a plus. Pre-existing restaurants can often be converted more quickly -  around 2 to 3 months vs. new spaces that typically can open in 4 to 6 months.  Inquire Today!

Q. Do I have to be an owner-operator?

A. Yes, this is preferred. We want our owners to be involved day-to-day operations, but this doesn’t mean you have to be working behind the grill, which lends to the option to own more than one restaurant.

Q. Can I own more than one restaurant?

A. Yes. We will allow qualified candidates to operate multiple restaurants as our founders have in their restaurants.  Inquire now!

Q. How many people does it take to run the restaurant?

A. We typically have 3 to 5 employees per shift depending on volume and time of day.

Q. What else is on the menu?

A. Check out our menu here – we offer gluten-free and vegetarian options, from salads to empanadas, to mac and cheese and more – all the family favorites and comfort foods are at Chiddy’s CheeseSteaks.  Inquire Now!

Q. Since you started with a food truck, is that an option for me as a franchise owner?

A. At this time, this is not an option. All franchise owners will open a brick and mortar restaurant that “brings the food truck concept indoors”.  In the future, we will consider certain markets on a case-by-case basis for the viability for a franchise owner to add a food truck; but only with the restaurant as the main commissary. In this scenario, the mobile operation would apply to catering, marketing, and special events and not replace the storefront location.

Q. How much can the restaurant make?

A. We will be able to share with you our Financial Performance Representation, called an Item 19 in our Franchise Disclosure Document which highlights affiliate performance and history. This can be a useful tool to help you evaluate the revenue potential for your Chiddy’s CheeseSteaks restaurant launch and development.  Inquire today!
